Hi @User_EW3WP Ok, clearly the translator app I used didn't work at all. I am very sorry for misunderstanding you.
-
Hi @User_NDVMI OK, I was able to reproduce your issue! Here's what I did: Went to period close, and walked through the close steps. There is a step to revalue transactions. There is also a step to confirm or edit the currency exchange rate table. To get that sort of variance, someone HAD to have made a change on the…
-
@User_NDVMI - Honestly, you might want to delete those screenshots as they show your company information that should be covered up. Anyway,,,,I can see it. It's referenciung transactions number FXREV9569. Since it's impacting your Intercompany vendor - it's likely from an intercompany transactions. It's posting in June -…
-
Hi @Shorin Rio Daa-Oracle You cannot update the accounts on items that have transactions in closed periods. FYI. 😉
-
We can't see your screenshot. Instead we see an Oracle error code. Can you explain the issue in more detail? What type of transaction is this from? What is the entry?
-

@User_8LGY2 Exactly! If you're not clear on what customizations you might need. It's sort of like asking me what color shirt I'm wearing this morning….. I live in SWFL- I could be wearing a swimsuit! There's simply no way of knowing. If you're concerned about your solution provider, do some homework! Do your consultants…

@User_44UPO If you know who the admins are, why not create the search using the users names instead of the role? Usually, admins only create/update transactions for a go live - either system go live or module go live. The transactions should be easy to spot.
-
@User_8LGY2 Like Tigran said - it's impossible to estimate without an understanding of your customizations. Some customizations take 2 hours. Others take 2 months.
-
@Hormese Paul Slow or not, I'm in! I'll get that demo right away. I appreciate you very much, thank you!

Glad to help @AlexM

Hi @Dext3r My system notes search won't tell you what changes were made, they will tell you WHEN an amount on a transaction changed and who made the change. As far as the exact changes they made, those you can only find out from the person who made the changes. When I used this search, I actually used it as an email alert…
-
Hi @User_68KLQ I believe that SuitePromotions can do this.
-
Hi @Kedalene , If I understand you correctly, you received a vendor payment that you want to refund into a vendor credit. If the payment was against the bill that you want to credit, you should be able to click on the bill and click 'credit'. Now you can credit the bill and have a bill credit. Is this what you're looking…
-
Hi @Dext3r While it is a system limitation to see the exact changes within the system notes, you CAN see the total, and the search I outlined does work.
-
Hi @AlexM Custom segments will not work for this at all, due to the restrictions on the financial report layouts. Even with an enhancement, it's likely never going to be possible. The good new is that You can do this natively by editing your financial report layouts, you shouldn't need a custom segment for it. I'm sorry…
-
Hi @Dext3r What you're asking for isn't that crazy. Here's what I have done in the past to track pricing changes on transactions. Set up a system notes search on the transaction type you're watching. Let's say it's invoices. You'll want to set the search up to be looking at 'old value' and 'new value' for the field…

Hi @User_K51C7 You would probably have better luck using 'applied to' in your search results. If you look at SuiteAnswers 92641, you'll find the Applied to and Applying transaction table. I have that answer bookmarked because I use it all the time. Here it is for you: Scenario User wants to know when to use Applied To…
-
@User_K51C7 You gave us a screenshot of your criteria, but not the results tab of your search. Because of this, we can't really help you. If you give us a screen shot of your results tab, we may be able to help.

@User_LT759 Yes, NetSuite has an audit trail for each record IF the 'Log system notes on update only' at Setup>Company>General preferences is disabled. All new NetSuite accounts are provisioned with this setting enabled. Unless it is disabled, your audit trail will only log on updates. Once the preference is disabled, you…

Hi @jenluna This used to happen to me a LOT! I finally figured out that the date filters of the drill downs from financials are all carrying balances forward, so either A) it's a balance forward or B) The drill down dates are wrong or C) the levels are collapsed and you can't drill into them by the report owners design.…

@Dext3r I think they want you to close out this post, Sam! Happy Monday

@BM136 Apologies, I missed the last question - What is the worst case that can happen? There is a 'delete all data' button that once clicked, and all confirmations are complete - truly does delete all of the data! (I tried it once in a sandbox account). I can think of a lot of things that someone could come up with - but…
-
@BM136 To answer your questions: Can NetSuite help recover the account and restore the system? Yes they can, but be warned, it VERY expensive Additionally, does the administrator account have access to any backend code or advanced system controls within NetSuite? An administrator, by design, has no restrictions in…
-
Hi @User_GO99H Do you mean the integrated carriers found at setup>Accounting>Shipping? Once you have set up a carrier, you cannot delete them as far as I know. I'm sorry it's not the answer you're looking for - but this is what Sandbox testing is for. You can always refresh your sandbox.

Hello @AlexM I'm sorry, but custom segments don't work that way. They are another form of segmentation of your data, but they don't work with the financials like the Native Department Class Location and Subsidiary do. What is it that you're trying to achieve? When you're saying 'rolling up into them' on financials, what do…

Hi @Bee Yook When using standard costs, yes, any variances will usually be found on the Item Receipt, because the item receipt is the transaction setting the asset value of the items. When using average cost, the variance is determined at the vendor bill stage, based on the average cost at the time of the vendor bill. Make…

Hello @User_1L16T If I am understanding you correctly, you're creating a sales order and an invoice when a customer places an order online. Since you're not able to create a fulfillment, the items never are removed from stock, but when you attempt to credit the invoice, the items are brought into stock on the credit memo.…
