Hello… yes, I saw that and tested yesterday. However, unless I'm missing something it still does not work. I attempted update both a Cogs and an income account and received the same warning of updating previous transactions message for both.

Did you try adjusting the email preference under setup - company - email preference.. Worse case, you could temporary remove the domain.

Got the answer its because supply allocation was enabled.
