Tigran, Is that a script that runs the financial calculation of each project separately or do you trigger something else altogether?
-
Hi, not really sure where this ended, our technical people are following up on this one. I assume we're done with this one.
-
Thanks Clarisa and Patrick, As mentioned I am aware of the options when using advanced project budgets, but that means that there is an error in the SuiteAnswers and help file documentation, as I illustrated. Not sure if NetSuite will pick this up and amend?
-
For this specific error NetSuite mentioned nothing thus far. If and when I get something, I'll post it here.
-
Michelle, thanks for your reply. There was an alliance partner supporting this customer previously and they may have installed such scripts (nothing in the workflows however). The weird thing is that back then, Classes were not used (feature was off). It really does seem that NetSuite has created a standard behaviour: if…

Thanks for the comment. I am aware of that way of working, but prefer to use resource allocations accross the board. Regards,
-
Patrick, What you say works indeed, but requires you to assign resources to those project tasks first. Those assignments will indeed look at the rate card to add the specified service item to the assignment. In this case I am using resource allocations and not assignments (you are supposed to use one or the other). @Tigran…

@Nicole Mendoza-Oracle I have now tried every variety of formula's. Concat(<YEAR>, <MONTH>) => either the year displays, or the month (if I delete the month value), but never year concatenated with the month. Tried the same with formula in the field, no luck.

Hi, Since it was not working, I deleted the workflow. I'll make it again as soon as I have the time and upload some screenshots. thank's everyone for the support so far.
-
that's what I did

Just tried " 22138 Restrict Access to Customer Records Through Workflow ", but I can still open a vendor record from a restricted role if I use the general or quick search. I'm thinking this is probably not going to work. Any other ideas I can try?
-
Michelle, The idea was to limit access to certain Vendor records based on a specific value on that Vendor record. I assumed (wrong, so it seems) that this was a way to do it. Do you know of a different way of achieving the same result?
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle Regrettably it confirms what I feared. The SuiteAnswer makes it sound as if the general and quick search would be limited to the result, but it's not. However, I don't understand what you mean with the comment on the "search results". Thanks for you time nonetheless.
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle The search is set up like this: On the role I have added this Logging in as that role, I can still find Vendors not included in the search using general search or quick search. According to the SuiteAnswers, that should be blocked. Is there a setting somewhere I am overlooking? Or is this simply a…
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle , I did not. Just checked it but it makes no difference. When I go to the role where I want the restriction applied, I can still search, find and edit a Vendor not in the saved search results. Any other suggestions?

@Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle #3 is actually pertaining to the fact that the box for packaging should preferably not be an extra item on the list of items on the sales order/packslip or invoice. If there is no other option, then I want to exclude it from the digital (PDF) and/or paper print.
