Apparently, sometimes if you wait 2 hours after executing something in NS, it magically happens. I can now see the roles I was attempting to add to my user account and sign in to. Problem solved (until it happens again).

Tried adding to another user account, and it works fine. For whatever reason, I cannot sign in to roles I add to my own user account. Very puzzling and frustrating.

I am bringing this up again because I think it appears to present an issue when running a Costed Bill of Materials report. If I try and run a Costed BOM for a serialized assembly set to Specific costing, I cannot generate the costed BOM. We are still pre-go-live (if that makes any difference). Creating a test serialized…

Anybody have a solution for this issue? How do I generate a costed BOM for a serialized assembly if the costing method is Specific? Should we change the costing method for all serialized assemblies to Standard?

Hi John, Thanks for the help! The bill is not in a closed accounting period. I have not had experience updating a transaction via CSV import. However, my first attempt gives the result, "Cancelled Vendor Bills cannot be edited." I'll keep trying to see if there is an import setting I need to change to make it work.
