Hi @User_WCXYT, Sounds good. Too much PI would be involved to troubleshoot it here. Regards, John

Hi @User_WCXYT, Assuming this was working previously, make sure you have downloaded a new wallet and test it using SQL Developer. Based on the text of your error, you could open up the wallet file and take the database hostname from the tnsnames.ora file. Then do a test command: nslookup <hostname> The messages from that…

Hi @User_ERR9Q, If you can wait for this data maintenance task to complete and allow it to run the Full Load, that would likely be the most prudent approach. If you were in the middle of running reports and you need updated data now, you should log the ticket with Netsuite and we can explore the options. There are a lot of…
-
Hello @User_WCXYT, What are you trying to do when you get this error? If you are trying to connect to a cloud-based database from an on-prem environment or a company intranet, there may be additional steps to take in additional to downloading the wallet. Regards, John
-
Hello @User_ERR9Q, You may want to log a ticket with Netsuite on this if you think you have your NSAW Pipelines configured correctly. In your NSAW Console, after you have enabled the functional areas you want to use, check under Pipeline Settings and verify that you have the Pipeline 'Enabled' and scheduled to refresh…

Hi @User_WCXYT, Thanks for sharing that. FYI, we do have a Wallet Rotation strategy documented here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite-analytics-warehouse/nsawa/wallet-rotation-oracle-autonomous-ai-lakehouse.html You definitely will want to read that and avoid dealing with wallet issues every 90 days. Regards,…

Hello @Mark Gildea-Oracle, You can apply conditional formatting rules to individual visualizations or to all visualizations on a canvas that evaluate using the same column. Please see the documentation here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acubi/what-can-i-do-conditional-formatting.html Hope that…

Hello @User_WCXYT The problem description does not include what you are doing when you get the error. However, the error is XML corruption related. You should check in Netsuite to see how this xml file is getting creating and whether its including invalid or corrupted characters. Also, check the size of the file to see if…

Hello @User_F2RD3 , Yes, you would need to have the Admin role as documented here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite-analytics-warehouse/nsawa/manage-users-groups-application-roles.html Regards, John
-
Hi @User_F2RD3 , The security configurations is located here: Regards, John
-
Hi @User_F2RD3, Thank you for the question. To create a 'data' Application Role, you should follow the steps here to create an Application Role and be sure to select 'Manage row-level data access (Data Role)'. Then with the Application Role created, goto Security Configurations and select a column from from the Netsuite -…

Hi @SWSearcy, The bundles have significant capabilities from migration and backup/recovery tasks but they do not include the underlying data. The scenario you mentioned will work. Exporting a Workbook to a .dva will include the workbook definition and other options you specify. It is useful for simple restore and migration…

Hello @SWSearcy, The standalone OAC functionality to take and restore snapshots is not available for NSAW. That functionality is documented for OAC here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acabi/take-snapshots-and-restore-information.html#GUID-C7DE34A5-7A67-4415-98B7-1CA9E5235480 Instead, you can use the…

Hello @RRW_EPM, You are right about the Custom Attribute Mapper, it has limited functionality. Instead, you should use the Data Augmentation functionality to add the Custom numeric field. Then you the Semantic Model Extensions functionality to add the new field to your semantic model. See the documentation here:…
-
Hello @SWSearcy, It looks like you are doing everything correctly on the Data Augmentation side. After the Data Augmentation, you do need to extend the Semantic Model by following the documentation here:…
-
Hello @User_F9H9U, It sounds like your performance issues are with the Oracle Analytics Cloud component of NSAW. There are some YouTube videos with a number of Tips and Tricks related to OAC performance issues such as the one here: You can also work with Support directly to get advice on your specific situation. The design…
-
Hello @SWSearcy, You would not typically join on a calendar date but if your custom table has a fiscal date column that has a date column with the same format as the Netsuite table and some other field to join on, you could map the the two dates together. The Data Augmentation functionality of NSAW would be the starting…
-
Hi @SWSearcy, Thank you for the follow up. Your idea is a good one too. Browsers have developer tools that can generate .har files that will include the logical SQL. You may want to check with your Admin regarding the OAC Console. There is a NSAW Console and a OAC Console. The OAC Console would be accessed here: The the…
-
Hi @SWSearcy, In NSAW, Goto your OAC Console > Sessions and Queries and set your log level to trace. Then goto your Workbook and run it. (You may need to refresh it using the 'Refresh Data' button). Then return to Sessions and Queries and you will see the log including all the calculations. Hope that helps. Regards, John

Hi @Gavin Davidson, Sorry about that. Not sure what happened to the link. Try: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite-analytics-warehouse/use.html Regards, John
-
Hello @Gavin Davidson, In NSAW itself, there is some KPI functionality that is documented here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite-analytics-warehouse/nawug/key-metrics.html NSAW comes with OAC where there is more alert and conditional functionality as documented here:…
-
Hi @James Woods, Thank you for the question and its definitely not a dumb question. Yes, you can do this in NSAW > OAC. A lot of different options exist on how and where to create calculations based on two different columns but the starting point is here:…
-
Hi @James Woods Administrators can switch off workbook personalization for the entire organization using the system setting Enable Personalization in Workbooks. See the documentation here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acubi/use-filter-personalizations.html#GUID-60EAC62C-D527-41A8-97D7-D548EF3086F5…

Hi @James Woods, There is a difference between exiting the Dashboard and logging off and remaining logged into the same session while doing other things. There are many types of filters, parameters, dashboard prompts, etc NSAW > OAC. For many filters you can supply a default value so everything a user logs in, the default…
-
Hi @User_PK2Q7 NSAW uses Oracle Analytics Cloud as its reporting tool. It includes many OOTB Dashboards that do default to an 'original state' when they are opened and these can all be customized. The OAC documentation is here:…
-
Hi @Vandana Srivastava, We will need more information to answer this. Is this a NSAW report you are creating in OAC? If not, you may want to post your question to the main Netsuite community site here: https://community.oracle.com/netsuite/english Regards, John
-
Hi @Vismay Barot If you cannot find the PO number via NSAW's OAC, then that means the PO Number was deleted appropriately via the Netsuite (Source) application and all is good. Regards, John
-
Hi @Vismay Barotm Knowing the PO Number should make Data Validation easier. In NSAW > OAC, using a user with the same privileges you have in Netsuite, create a simple workbook from Subject Area: Netsuite - Purchase Order > Purchase Order Transaction Number. You can filter on the number. If it exists in NSAW and does not…
-
Hi @Vismay Barot NSAW Administrators can get access to the subject area named: "Common - Warehouse Refresh Statistics". In OAC, that Subject Area can be used to develop workbooks that show differences and explain the results of the Pipeline. Specifics would depend on the records you want to track. For example, some…

Hi @Priya Chary, Please see the What's New section of your NSAW documentation here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite-analytics-warehouse/nsawn/index.html Usage tracking has been turned on in the Oracle Analytics Cloud instance associated with your Oracle NetSuite Analytics Warehouse instance. Usage tracking…
