Hi Staci What we did: Create a cutom field: eg. 3% discount checkbox Create a custom online form. When referencing the form on your webstore, after the url add &custfieldid=TRUE where custfieldid = the id of the custom field you created. Set up a price discount level of 3% and using a script make custfieldid=TRUE then 3%…
-
Ahh... I've just been throught this process. We came up with.... Provide a registration form that automates a customer pricing category of 3% off. It won't physically show a discount, but the discount will be automatically applied. If you want to show a physical discount, perhaps try a promotion code. Helpful? Hope so. Wiz
-
Exactly right! I don't think it is possible without scripting unfortunately. It would be if the "Price Level" field was able to be referenced from an online form. Then you would simply add it to the form, make it hidden and reference what to fill in it from the url. Too easy? Give us some love NS. Make all fields…

Chris I think the best way would be to just refund the entire transaction and create a new one. If that is no good to you you can just edit the payment and change the payment method. You will then need to manually refund the card from your Verisign/PayPal/whatever merchant you use. Hope this helps Wiz
-
You could also edit the invoice and either ammend the total or add a further discount Wiz
-
typing "spam legislation" into google is a good reference.
-
I have been to the future and NetSuite aren't going to comment.
-
I think this is beginning to sound like a fruitless idea... Maybe we should start a user-group or something similar... oh hang on...
-
Alternately we could make the "Search" link bigger, bolder, flashing, playing music or producing smoke. That way new users would know where to find it and not post the same stuff over and over and over again. The regionality thing doesn't bother me either way, as I am from Australia and we are so far removed from any other…
-
ha ha maybe...
-
No mention of "Hello" by Lionel Ritchie (Commodores)???
-
I can't believe people still post on this thread... It's on hold music... It's supposed to drive you barmy!
-
Make me an offer... Just kidding... I'm not for sale
-
Yes yes, we are now covering supply v demand issues. If anyone here doesn't understand this then they probably shouldn't be in business. Who is Lucy North and why is she/he editing my posts? Seems very anti-Wiz!
-
No no no... Sarcasm is for the unintelligent... that was Wizism
-
I would like to re-ask my question: Can we sort by "Billing address" Only?????????? Thank you
-
I really don't think I can... My major problem is that the serch function does not let you specify between addresses. You can only search "Address" - not "Billing Address" nor "Shipping Address" nor "Boot-Scootin' Address" That would also solve my headache faster than a Panadol Rapid, with which I have no affiliation. Wiz
-
My point is I cannot choose between billing or shipping anything! The only choice is "Zip" or "Couty/State" and they search ALL address entries associated with a customer record If I am missing something please let me know. I am Ironman - da na na na na nunt na na na
-
All good suggestions, but I am not paying someone to manually uncheck a box on 15,000 records. We send twice a week! Ok, ok.... I'm performing a customer search. We send everyone in our database an email twice a week. Ideally, a search criteria of: Email 'is not empty' would suffice, however, NS imposes a 4000 record limit…
-
ha ha ha like NetSuite is going to find a way to reduce their revenue stream. hahahahahaha. Oh stop it.
-
No-one... Unbelievable. Not even anyone from NetSuite on this. They set the 4000 limit but offer no solution on how to handle this limit. Perhaps once your database grows to 4001 you have outgrown NetSuite. Well done!
-
Sorry... I solved this last week... thanks anyway
-
Excellent! For the first time ever I will vote on something... Now... If I could just find a thread that explains how to vote on enhancements... Maybe I should start one Wiz
-
The only complaint I have about Netsuite is the support policy. I don't know why we even bother paying for support when they don't even look at our cases. I submitted 1 case on the 20th of last month, didn't get my first reply until August 1st to which I responded immediately (the guy was completely wrong by the way) and I…

Pressing CTRL and + causes your screen to magnify. No more small fonts!

I'd love to join in but our rating changes on a weekly basis as per NetSuites random updates. Some are helpful, some set us back for ages... Currently it would be at an average of 6½/10 Wiz
-
Well... NetSuite is a great system I believe. However, every now and then, they perform slight upgrades and/or patched to problems, then all of a sudden things just don't work anymore or are completely different. The changes are done without any release notes or warnings of any possible ramifications. Probably due to a…
-
I agree with your 2/10 on support Angela... And as of 01/07/07 (or 07/01/07 if your in the US and used to writing the date backwards...) NS have taken the liberty of charging us $2500AUD for their wonderful support.
-
That was really easy... except for records that don't have fields filled in that we have since made mandatory... Fiddly stuff. At least its a workaround but having EVERYTHING updated via mass-updates would rock!
-
Very useful information... No I haven't tried it but I will today.
