We are encountering several sporadic problems with the one page checkout system as well...(1),(2),(3)... Again... Thanks for doing the beta testing for us. We look forward to using "One Page Checkout" once all of the issues have been ironed out.

We purchased a third domain slot and are using it for testing purposes... In this sense its a great place to just play and try and sort out these issues. Thanks for doing our testing for us. I know it sounds facetious to say that ..but I really do mean it. Thanks! We look forward to using "One Page Checkout" once all of…

Also, I finally got brave enough to install the one-page-checkout. It isn't terribly hard. Hurray for bundles. Please make many more of them. In fact, make a bundle for each of the missing ecom features (mentioned earlier) that are still relevant in 2012. I did have turn turn "off" the reference cart right after I…

Hi Tom, I would love to read your 40 eCommerce improvements list. Can u please email it to me to dterra@netsuite.com. Paypal works with the One Page checkout. Wait for the next Checkout release soon for full functionality. Same for Google Checkout. Dterra, The list was early in this thread (post 38). The list would most…

Diego, The Canada issue is also broke going the other way. USA zip + "Canada as country" = the same error. What about issue #3? Also, why are you a "Junior Member" and not "NS employee" in this UG? T

The same need for simplicity goes toward many ecom features. Looking back toward the very start of this 5-year old thread, I see the root of the problem. I gave a long list of about 40 needed ecom improvements. The NS answer was essentiality "those improvements aren't needed because they can be done with workarounds,…

It appears one needs serious programming skills to customize the cart. Way over my head. Bill, then it is over my head too. I thought NetSute didn't require an IT department to manage, but I'm afraid that it does. NS, more user friendly ecom enhancements please.

"technically it is possible". Hey, that might be a good NS tag line

I don't know that I'll have time to attend the Webinar. Will a video version of it be posed for online streaming after it is over? -Tom PS: I'm thinking it will becasue the support site says... Are the sessions recorded? Yes, all our training webinars are recorded and posted as soon as possible to SuiteAnswers, which can…

How does one test if they don't have a sandbox account. Last time I checked, sandbox accounts were NOT free. I still can't believe that NS charges extra for an area to test customizations. I liked the way that yahoo store let you customize to your hearts content AND preview the results without changing your live web-store.…

We just want a canned one page check-out that works. I don't need the high end customization and we don't want to hire a guru to use each new NS feature. We just want to click "use one page checkout = true" and be done with it.

They posted instructions at.... https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/PDF/RefCheckoutGuide.pdf

It is there and you have access to it. See my previous post for how to access it. They said..."we had some last minute glitches in repository, so we moved it to production account" Now, i want someone else (braver (and more naive) than me) to install it first and let me know how it goes. -Tom
-
Well, has anyone tried it yet? If so, how did it go? T
-
Apparently beta testing didn't "go well".
-
I thought NS had the "Test Website Content" feature where you could create a new domain to deploy stuff to. I'd be interested in knowing where that is and if it requires the multi-domain add-on. I checked with my account rep and he said that a Sandbox account is what is needed. I then got the price for a Sandbox account…

I've heard "End of April" if beta testing goes well.

We will be offering one click publish to Google Base, Shopping.com and Shopzilla by end of month via our new product "SuiteFeeds". Oh, that is great news!!! I commend you NetSuite. Oh wait. I thought that post was from NS and they were beefing up their core Ecommerce functionality to match all of the other Ecarts. It is a…

Another good tip Rob, I checked and they don't offer a https image at Shopping.com or at the bbb. It is displayed as part of our sidebar navigation in our site's theme. Is there a way to display that shield in the sidebar of our site and not have it display during webstore checkout? Tom

Setup->Customization->install bundle-> Then filter by: Location= Production Account Account ID = 3519604 Keyword= Reference They said "Let me know if you run into issues. We are working on updating the doc..."

I'm told that it will be available tomorrow.

Yes. I'm aware of the things possible with customizations, but I think that too often NS bails on a feature as soon as some expensive and/or time consuming workaround involving Java programmers an/or 3rd part development services becomes available. They've been extremely slow to add auto-google-sitemaps because a NON-auto…

Never mind, I found HTTPS versions of the bbb and Shopping.com graphics. Thanks again, -Tom

In "Customize Text", on the "Headings" tab, I edited the cart progress text across the top of the checkout area so they are links. Nice tip! Thanks, Tom

Version 2012 Release 1 includes the following six enhancements to Web Site features: • SuiteScript Server Pages (SSP) Applications (Beta) • Reference Cart and Checkout • Web Site Email Templates • Customize Web Site Text Groups • Bulk Edits of URL Redirects • Direct File Editing T PS: "Reference Cart and Checkout" provides…

Netsuite is being left in the dust with this feature being added to most every other cart on the market. This isn't the only missing ecommerce feature. There are many of them (like faceted navigation) and each year the list gets longer, not shorter. NS has been evolving the web-store portion of NS at a fraction of the pace…

The 2009.2 release is going to include many of the top ecommerce enhancement requests, focused primarily around checkout. This is great news unless it is fairly limited to checkout. It should have lots of SEO improvements like fixing of the encrypted IMAGE URLs in the webstore that excludes NS users from any free Google…

Evan wrote on 6/2007: We are looking at upgrading checkout in our next year's release. This would include significantly more customizationa s well as a one-page checkout option. John Doyle wrote on 3/2009: Per Evans quote above (june 2007!), it is now very apparent that NS has more or less stopped development of the…

I also agree. simple is best everywhere (from and back end) and Amazon has a one page check-out (after you are a customer) and it is part of the reason that I prefer shopping there. T PS: I looked at the ecommerce service that Chris mentioned. It looks like their TOP level of ecommerce is only $99/month. It also says…
