We use the same SO form on web store orders as we do for orders entered thought the "back end". Every web-store generated sales order has an accounting tab. Every order entered through the NS "back end" is missing the "accounting tab".

Found two more. NetSuite's "Terms and Conditions" field isn't visible to our web-store customers anymore even though it is still required before they can place an order. I did a work-around by going to "setup-web site->set-up website" and unchecked the "Require Terms and Conditions" option. Customers were calling and…

Mr. Kennedy, Is there more to come for the Ecommerce enhancements? T
-
The release notes say "These Sneak Peeks are subject to change". So, its not too late to add something else for ecommerce users. Maybe images that Google can find. .....well? I don't use Cybersource, so from my perspective we're getting one web-store enhancement ....but I do like the idea of a new check-out with a better…

John, actually I've heard that they fixed the problem where web store images can't be found by Google. It isn't listed in the "sneak peaks", but another thread says it is included in 2010.2. They're still years behind (on the web store front), but this enhancement is still something positive for web store users. T

I don't like the matrix options (in the parent item) being stuck under the accounting tab. How is that accounting. I tried creating a matrix tab and that worked, but I couldn't move the matrix related fields to the new "matrix tab" because not all fields were "moveable".

Looking at the screenshot of the home page, I hope there will be a preference to re-enable text labels for the icons in the 'create new' tab under the main tabs. I agree They're fairly small (low detail) and the contrast is a bit low to be easily remembered. I agree on both points.... especially the lack of contrast. My…

I also participated in the review. I was lukewarm on the whole thing. I agree with Krish about too much white space and I also prefer borders (on all 4 sides of each section) that more clearly separate the different areas within the form. I'm honestly OK with the current SO form. NetSuite has so many other areas that have…

The basic issue is that it is a huge undertaking to set up a beta for every account. So,why default to limiting access to solve the problem? Why not use that problem as an argument for figuring out new methods for setting up beta access with less effort to NS rather than deciding to add a bureaucratic hurdle to limit the…

One enhancment is... "Dashboards - Trend Graph Rollovers". WHY not fix the trend graphs first? NetSuite doesn't have "REAL" trend graphs. The so-called "trend line" doesn't even match their own definition of what it is supposed to be showing. So, now we have a more detailed view of the faulty information! great idea! T

The iPad will run iPhone apps. So, I guess that means that it will also run the NS iPhone app. T

Looking at the "Sneak Peeks" it looks lite on the ecommerce ...again. We need many missing "easy to use" "canned" ecommerce features that don't require script writing and/or an IT department to use. Sitemaps were on there (carried over from the last release) and if you exclude that reused enhancement, then ecommerce was…

I agree with ifaxsoln. We've spent very little time with our past beta accounts because usually the upgrade had nothing that we were interested in "playing with" and we haven't written any of our own custom scripts than can break with these updates. We did look at the new release, but just not in any great depth. Now we…

We were upgraded on Friday and now have a similar Google checkout issue Action: Process order payed for via google checkout. Result: Defaults google checkout payment to deposit into general bank account Expected Result: Default google checkout payment to deposit into "google checkout account" and not "general bank…

Easier to bolt on something like Yahoo store and smooth over the integration. Like Intuit (Quickbooks Online) did with storefront. I'm all for that approach as long as it isn't yahoo store that they bolt onto. I wouldn't ever use another ecommerce cart that takes a percent of every sale. who here uses a seperate eCommerce…

I'm guessing that "the Wizard" thinks you all are asking for too much. Either that or he sincerely wants us all to have ponies. T

I do not believe it is my job to improve NS, although I appreciate what you are trying to accomplish. In 4 months I have spent an inordinate amount of time working with NS and support on issues. Extremely time consuming and takes away from running & growing the business. NS has our in put. All they have to do is look at…

NS, Have any of the sitemapping issues been address yet or are there plans to finish this feature in the near future? This was the only feature we were excited about in the last release and I'm wondering if we will ever get access to it in a useful form. -T

So - a warning to all the basic users like myself you will not be getting a sitemap. You can create one but you have no way to view it or submit it to google. You should be able to view it by going to... yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml or yourdomain.com/sitemap.html assuming that it creates both a XML and a HTML sitemap. T

The sitemap reminds me of the product feeds. We wanted product feeds, but we wanted automated product feeds that automatically electronically transferred feeds directly from NS to various product search engines. Instead we get a report that we can export and doctor up to suit the feeds and then upload to various locations…

> Is there anyway to schedule the sitemap generator to run, say, on a weekly basis? Not that I know of. -Tom PS: Is there a way to make the HTML sitemap have both items and categories and not just a map of the categories?
-
We should be able to specify the "default category" for any item that is in two categories (for the sitemap) and it is unrelated to sitemaps, but it should also effect which item is found using the webstore's "item search" feature. Right now when we put something on special it is found in the specials category and not in…

Is there a way to make the HTML sitemap with both items and categories and not just the categories? -Tom
-
For the best SEO results, should the sitemap have every page or just the category pages in its HTML sitemap? I'd prefer every page with the categories being in a bigger and bolder font and the items indented like a typical directory tree. Here is the one created by NetSuite... http://www.signsdirect.com/Sitemap.html Here…

I don't have v.2009.2. Did they already fix the non-descriptive URL issue? -Tom
-
We don't have v.2009.2, but reading this post it looks like the feature we most desired in v.2009.2 won't be helpful to anyone wanting increased SEO with less effort (until the feature is fixed). This has happened before and it is so incredibly frustrating. You lobby for a feature and wait years for the feature and then it…

Product Feed enhancements for international companies with multi-sites and multi-currencies in v2009.2. Why not add a button to auto-upload feeds (via FTP) directly to Froogle and NexTag etc (like feed-perfect does)? 100% of NS users that advertise on product search engines have to manually FTP their feeds to the engine,…
-
If it gives you any clues, the NS support center still shows Google Checkout (Enh No. 109287) as "Release Target = Under Review" and "Status = "Tentatively Planned" and that enhancement has already been partially released. I don't think they have the resources to stay on top of enhancement status communications. T

Notification of beta start and release date is provided in the New Feature Port let on your dashboard by August 17, 2009. In addition to schedule dates the New Feature Port let will include sneak peeks and release notes for your review in preparation for beta review. We strongly suggest that you utilize the beta period to…
