Back at this and have more questions — I've set up the acquired customer as a subcustomer, and it looks correct since they can maintain their own price levels and pricing contracts. However, I noticed that I can assign a Parent Customer directly on the child record, but the subcustomer doesn't display in the Subcustomers…

Yes, makes sense. I'll give it a try. It's a bit crazy that I have to add a custom field and workflow in order to display a field that already exists in the system. Thank you.
