FWIW, we receive whatever is physically received regardless of the condition as this is a record of... what was received. Then we either do vendor returns or adjustments to account for the condition/disposition of the goods. In other words we do it the same way Jim suggested.

Its interesting that PARTNER records support Department, Class, and Location, while customers and vendors do not. Agreed, I noticed that as well. I would enjoy hearing NetSuite's response to this issue. I have to hope there is a reason they left support for classifications from Customers and not just an oversight. NetSuite?
