AfterSubmit events still not breaking into the debugger.

so slow it's unusable.
-
Yes! It's very annoying!
-
I'm on FF 3.6.8 and a quick shows that they appear to be working.
-
Babett, thank you! This solved my immediate problem but it's a bummer that this is even necessary. In addition to your solution I was thinking that a script could be deployed to block the viewing of employee records. Or better, NetSuite could change the way they handle this aspect of Employee records and Roles. Thanks for…

try explicitly logging out and back in (via web services). It appears that sometimes the session is cached for a very long time.

I've got a worse one! (I'm on hold for support, 7 minutes and counting...) Employee Form Restrictions don't work AT ALL! I just learned that all my employees are able to see each others records, including user notes, pay history, write ups, etc. Unbelievable...

Ken, I've got 5 more of these already today. Do you have any updates for me? Are there more potential fixes being rolled out Thursday? Is there a defect or issue assigned to these problems? If so, what is the severity? Thanks, Steve
-
5 more and it appears that 3 of them are related and the other two are related as well. Date Error Ticket 05/11/10 g931fak9zsdfpwwo6ckl 05/11/10 g931fakd1svsccz6z66ot 05/11/10 g931kzcuq9mywsif0k8u 05/11/10 g931l2cpei7rwo138mkp 05/11/10 g931lkunmvcwz4q842ex

Here are some more: Date Error Ticket 05/04/10 g8t6g92p333a7fxkugwj 05/04/10 g8t6g92n18kgk8ligs0z1 Any updates on your theory or what specifically is causing these errors? This is starting to be more of an issue. Thanks.
-
Hi Ken, Is the one that you saw: g8xhrjnr10b9m1unued9f Just curious if we are talking about the same one. I'm glad to hear you have more fixes in the pipe! Have a good weekend, Steve
-
Ken, Just happened a couple more times: g8rr4ugg1ffyffyaqazmw g8rr4ufn6cu4dw8l2alg If these are problems with my script, fine... I'll fix it but as long as you guys are swallowing the exception and handing me an "UNEXPECTED ERROR" I can't do anything and this is creating real problems for us. Please advise.
-
Hi Ken, Sorry, I actually lost a day in my head (sadly, this happens often...) I thought Today was Friday. You can imagine my disappointment. I'll wait to see what tomorrow holds.
-
There is a chance the change last night resolved that. Here are some fresh out of the oven this morning: Date Error Ticket 05/04/10 g8sw26qqrpb2ww4nnn8e 05/04/10 g8sw26qqxx63qgd26wqf 05/04/10 g8sw26qqmb92bd1nryz8 05/04/10 g8sw26qtzst6qvel5bkh

Hot off the press! Date Error Ticket 05/06/10 g8vwi4u914ir6vrp03wn1 05/06/10 g8vwi4u71spfr2h49y8kk Any updates on this? Can you tell me what the errors are? It's like pulling teeth with support...
-
It seems that they started right after the upgrade.
-
OK Ken, my fingers are crossed! Friday will be know as the "End of UNEXPECTED_ERROR", right? ;)
-
We released a minor change to scripting tonight which will fix a few scripting errors that started Thursday night. Steve, you may have had some in this category, but the ones I looked at were not. We have filed issue 179892 to track at least on category of yours. We have a theory and are working on it. Thanks Ken Thanks…

Ken, errors are still happening and from the stacktrace I bet it's the same problem. Date Error Ticket 05/06/10 g91rmbeokab0zhjdloc0 05/06/10 g91rmb28327hvak2p4fl

Still getting errors, here are the most recent two that just came in. Date Error Ticket 05/06/10 g8w46ide118ql7cloemtn 05/06/10 g8w46idennyq7f3inpdh What do I need to do to get this escalated?
-
Hi Steve, Did they start right after your upgrade, or more recently? Thanks Ken If you tell me that it will be looked at I will have someone here go through all our error reports and pull out "error tickets" and dates. It will take several hours so I don't want to do it unless I know it will be used and hopefully…

I've probably been no help. I'm sorry. lol.... classic

We are down here in Irvine California I'm in Irvine too! What do you guys do? Oh, and we are down too of course.

In the code you posted you aren't checking that you have a valid nlobjRecord instance returned. Also, on client side I find it better to rely on toString() of the exception object being caught. So I would try // from within client-side form script var recd = nlapiLoadRecord('customer',123); if(!recd) { // handle this error…

Everywhere my name appears in netsuite it is duplicated. For example in the assigned to box it say "ken bangs ken bangs". Any ideas? ken ken, Check to see that your Employee ID on your Employee Record has your correct name, this is the field that is displayed around the user interface and sometimes if people enter them…

This has always been the case with the rollover menus in NS. I've gotten that used to right-click "open in new tab" that I'd forgotten that it doesn't work as intended. It works in firefox though. I can middle-click on just about anything and get a new tab. Doesn't work for you in FF?

Amen brother

Hi Jim, It's terribly slow right now, I'd love to know what they're doing over there. Even the Eclipse plugin (uses web services I think) is godawful slow... it's taking 20+ seconds to upload a single 1Kb file!
-
Hello Steve, Please file an online case or call our support line so that it can be investigated. In the meantime, you may do a right-click on the tab & then click on "Open link in new tab". Hope this helps. Hi, Thanks for the suggestion, I've been doing just that since writing the post. I don't think I will open a case,…

OK, it just started. So I guess it CAN take a really long time for these things to start, yikes!
