OK, maybe this isn't a roles issue. It doesn't happen in the UI but only from a User Event script that is creating the Invoice from nlapiTransformRecord().

A similar thing happened with me; support started looking at and asking about the details of my search and I finally said "Stop - the search is fine, it's been fine for almost a year" and then shortly thereafter the defect was filed. They have their protocol and procedures, I get it but sometimes you just can't play along.

Last night NONE of our emails were sent from our production account yet the sandbox ones were sent. Not a single one was sent. This problem is alive and well. :(
