That looks pretty cool, might get in touch with them about that, could solve the search system problem.

Thanks refurbups for working on the Ajax code, but DJs code works with ease. Literally removed the JS and used a href link: <a href="/app/site/backend/intl/setshopperregioninfo.nl?c=123456&n=2&selcurrency=4&selshopperlanguage=de_DE" title="Deutsch"> Is quick and reloads the current page.

Hi Wiz, i was hoping for more of an open page like this one: http://demo.magentocommerce.com/catalogsearch/advanced/ Published searches are good but are not dynamic enough.

Ken, here are the details: Case #1139859 Update : Defect 164761:Page title tag error on item no longer available

We use Live Chat on a daily basis, we get some good conversions from customers asking small questions or asking why their card has declined payment, etc. We use a company called WhosOn, and the software is pretty good.

Hi Meir, you will find that some affiliates will use this data feed to create a webstore as it were on their own website. When users click on the products on their site it takes the user to your site. We have a data feed with our affiliates and some users do use it. Better to have one that not one at all. As for info in…

Sounds about right Meir, just checked our ShopZilla and we made 15 sales in the last 30 days. I maxed out Optimizing that feed, we do make decent ROI because of the basket size, just doesnt create a lot of orders. The problem i found with alot of them was sites like eBay flood the feeds which can sometimes push your…

Hi Matt, this is a defect which i have reported. It has been classed as an S2 at the beginning of April, not sure how much longer they need though to fix it. I do not believe there is a workaround.

Under Setup->Website->Set up Website, on the Shopping tab, you can set "Sales ORder Type" to "Per Customer Basis". This will allow buyers to select "Invoice" or "Credit Card" when checking out. Note, however, that everyone will have this selection option, not just clients with set terms. Just to clarify on this, under that…

This company has some interesting site features like zoom, 360 views, slideshows, etc. They even have a few written for NS. http://www.magictoolbox.com/ We're thinking of implementing. Has anyone used them? We use Magic Zoom and it works great, we used to use Magic Touch which also works great but it costs per zoom so went…

Sorry, think i wrote that wrong. I have our system already setup and its almost complete. Once its live i wont have to change any code, therefore i shouldnt have any issues that require the need for support. My point is that for people looking into this solution, you shouldnt need to purchase the enterprise edition, the…

Hi Druid, i know where your coming from on this, we are both B2B and B2C so we get both ends of the stick. One thing i did see is that you host your sites on cloud servers. What is the benefit of this against a dedicated server if you dont mind?
-
Just checked, link looks fine to me Carol, must have been a bad link from Google like refurbups suggests.

Fred, i don't doubt that NetSuite has helped your business improve, as in previous threads on this subject, myself and others have said that the NetSuite UI is a good one. It has helped our sales grow and is continuing to do so, but you have to admit its eCommerce is years behind that of other eCommerce platforms like…

Not to test fate here :) But if you did get the free version and got it up and running, what problems would you come across if you didnt change any of the code once live? On the affiliate side, i agree with Don. We started using LinkShare around December time, we are making around £2000 extra per month at the mo, but the…

Are you sure you don't have the gift voucher code and the "You may wish to try these items too:" message in your cart related items template as well?
-
Hi DJ, Case #993159 Update : Defect 166885 This was raised again back on Jan the 25th. It was set as an S2.
-
I retested last month and it still has issues. For instance, if you have more than one price level and a customer orders using that price level, the order when imported into NetSuite will use the base price, not the alternate price level price.
-
Just to quickly comment on this, the first part about the scriptable checkout means you need to know how to script, so if you dont there will be extra costs involved. Secondly, if you get the community version of Magento its free but you will have to pay for hosting. If you compare hosting against NetSuites eCommerce…

Well your on 2010.1 so i can only assume its a screw up of the update :( Might be worth letting support sort this out if it as fine on 2009.2?
-
Very strange, just checked it and your right, it is duplicating. Have you checked that the NLPROCESSONCE tag is in the right place on your 'related items' template? Looking at the source code i can see an ending tag for this but not a starting tag?
-
Sure Paul, drop me an email, chris@blitzsport.com

Ok, so i had another look at this. On the customer level you have your terms set to 'Due on receipt'. On all our non-invoice accounts this is blank on our system. I tried changing the settings on my test account. I had mine set as 'Due on receipt' with a £1000 credit limit. Logged in, placed my order and the invoice option…

When there are no items in the cart, what information are we meant to see under the continue shopping button? At the mo, i can see the thank you message, need a gift voucher message and then a short message "You may wish to try these items too:" Are we meant to be able to see any of that when there are no items in the cart?
-
I take it unchecking the option for "Create customers as companies" wasnt the culprit?
-
This is totally bizarre, im still going over our settings Paul but we didnt have any scripts done for us and we are having no problems with this issue. Im sure there must be a setting somewhere that is controlling this. I will continue to look for what it is.

Beaten to it by Olivier :)

Hi Rick, you could create some categories and use the 'Audience' section to restrict view by group (Maybe using the customer price level as the criteria). This would stop users accessing the category like the normal web user. Only problem is i think users can still find the items if they use the search box.
-
I added the code at the very top of the 'Logo and tabs' section under themes. It wont be 100% just under the body tag, it will show up within a few of NetSuites handy table tags, the code still worked for me placing it here.

Thats a strange one Paul, we have ours set to per customer basis as we have a few amount of customers who actually have invoice accounts. If a new customer signs up on our web site they have no credit limit and have to pay by debit/credit card, they have no invoice option. There must be something setup wrong in the backend…
