i guess you already tried copy & pasting it on notepad and seeing that the characters are all the same. when i say copying and pasting, do it in edit mode inside the textbox. don't do it in view mode. you will see exactly what is stored inside that field. then maybe it's the hyphen. does your other locations have hyphen in…

I just noticed this yesterday. How long has this been going on?
-
JKB, he wasn't saying it was dumb. it means he isn't an expert,
-
yu could try JKB, go to Big Red Dog Dallas, then press edit. go to that field company name. copy & paste it on a notepad, see what characters you see. sometimes it hides some hidden characters that messes up the search. it did that for me one time for PO# com on global search doesn't work for me as a prefix. what records…

thanks

Wow I think I've narrowed down what caused this issue with the help of Netsuite Support. 1. Have an item fulfillment with pick status. 2. Turn off Bin management 3. Have a schedule script that go into item to update any field. (glitch/bug will cause 'usebins' to turn to F) 4. Turn on Bin management 5. Change 'USEBINS' to…
-
Here is a saved search results of bin qty available greater than on hand. screenshot. example, available 682 and on hand 244. I don't think that I can fix this. wait for recalculation? I only brought this up because the auditor asked me why available is greater than on hand. I told them that it's wrong and Netsuite needs…

ok, it works now.
-
well it's kind of working now
-
my netsuite is sooooooooooo slow
-
this will work SUBSTR({value},LENGTH({value}))
-
any type of search. in my case, i am doing a transaction saved search. in my save search, i have a formula (text) which has a html inside the formula. ex. '<a href=....>' || {customfield} || '</a>' when i export this, i was hoping not to have all that html code along with it too.
-
nvm, it's doing what it is suppose to. i am trying to get a formula that just pulls the last character of a value. what formula would that be? something like RIGHT('12345',1) on excel
-
Will that even work if it's a summary type Group? or Max? I forgot to mention my search has summary types. therefore, that is why i use html code to link to records
-
sorry i'm not understand what you are doing... my html code is not inside that custom field therefore, you aren't really removing/replacing anything. I think that is for a custom field with html code. I think you got my problem mixed with another FAQ i am not trying to strip the html code on my report, only when i am…

found the solution. seems like netsuite made it so that partners can't assign/view tasks from employees.
-
Nevermind, it was my internet. Okay it's working now.
-
This morning was slow. Everything is smooth now.
-
slow to a halt for me.
-
best part is trying to explain to my team why Netsuite is slow and not working, when I haven't got a clue.
-
Now it's working, and now it's not. it's off and on for us right now.
-
working now, but a little slow
-
Netsuite is super slow today...its been over 15 minutes and it's still trying to log in.

For us Defect 276735: Slow Performance when loading customer record - Filed 7/25/13 (1 year ago). No resolution. 270 second load time 93% server side. i submit the same problem maybe 2 weeks ago. it was taking 10 seconds to load a customer record. i thought that mine was slow, but not as bad as yours. i think it will only…
-
same problem. only some scheduled saved searches. i can't find a pattern why some fails to send.
-
well, you aren't suppose to actually click that to see your own view. something is wrong with my view that it is giving me an error how do i check which preferred list view it is using? without having to click on every single saved search fixed. i just went through every single saved transaction search, and unchecked…
-
you just gotta play around with the ID. check if that ID exists or not. if it doesn't exist, then it's easy. just create another custom field, and change the ID to match. if the ID does exist, deleting the field would usually fix it. it won't refer to it anymore. if it still doesn't work. you would need to either create a…

i need to delete this report...or edit. or do something. i have a lot of reports like this...sitting there not working and just taking up space.
-
nvm, it was some kind of bug. i found a way to get around it.
-
ouch. good thing it was in sandbox. i hate imperfections
