How Coverage can be continued when HSA option changes or downgrades from Family to Employee+Spouse
Summary:
When Employees enrollment option changes from Health Savings Account (selected with HDHP only) Family to Employee + Spouse upon child dependent attaining 26 years of age and processing of “Loss of Eligibility” LE, then business expectation is that coverage Amount and Rate values should continue by default even if manual election of coverage is not done explicitly.
Currently, upon this option transition, coverage and Rate values becomes 0 (zero).
For Rate value, I am able to achieve the requirement by modifying the attached Rate Periodization FF but coverage will still not populate and continue when LE is processed and option changes.
Do you have any suggestions to achieve the required functionality.
