Assembly Items with Matrix items

I have several products that need Dynamic Assembly items

so it would be like

item ABC
10 Snaps
5 Buckles
3 Decorative Tabs
24 inches trim
AND
50 Square Inches of any 1 of the 15 colored materials in item matrix XYZ

can this be done ?
