Conditions for non-stored fields in Before Submit do not work

A workflow with a "not empty" condition on a non-stored field in a Before Submit On Update Workflow does not work.  If you change the field to store value it works fine.

The workaround is to add a Set Field Value Action to clear (null) the field.  This has the unfortunate side effect of littering the System Notes with junk change history.

BTW NetSuite, I'm not entering cases for these issues because I don't have the time to go the support route.  I'll find the issues and post here and if you want to harvest the issues that is up to you.  I'll keep posting them here for you (hopefully) and other users.
