Workflow Request - Scripted Transitions

While planning my next WorkFlow project I can already see that the standard Transitions will not be enough for some of my needs.  I feel like I already saw this mentioned somewhere... but what would be a great addition would be "Scripted Transitions" which would basically be a Transition with a script backing it up.
