Scheduled Workflow executing as Admin - who should be in system notes?

I was a bit surprised to see my name listed in the System Notes for field changes executed by a scheduled workflow.  If I remember correctly a scheduled should log changes as "- System -"  Are workflows different from Scheduled Mass Updates and Scheduled Scripts?
