How to initiate workflow when customer registers on NetSuite-based website?
One of the most obvious uses for a workflow is for Lead Nurturing, and one of the most common starting points for this would be, I would think, a customer registering on the NetSuite web store (thereby creating a Lead - Lead-New in our case).
One would think it would be simple to initiate a workflow tied to the Lead record when a customer registers. Something like:
Record Type: Customer
Sub Type(s): Lead
Event Based - On Create
Trigger Type - All
Execute as Admin - True
However, the only way I seem to be able to initiate the workflow on Lead records from web store registrations is to check the 'On Update' as well. If it's just "On Create" no workflow is initiated.
