Custom Record Sublist - Inline edit won't trigger workflow

Hi,

I have a custom record sublist that allows inline create / edit of theses subrecords from within the context of editing the parent record - kind of like adding item lines to a sales order..

I am trying to get a server based workflow trigger (before record submit) to initiate the workflow on the sublist records when they are created or edited via the inline sublist.

Per Evan's comment here: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=23991 , sounds like the before record submit should work via inline edit, but it will not initiate my workflow.. However, I know that it works as when I create or edit the subrecord directly (ie not via inline sublist), the workflow and actions fire perfectly!
