Expense Report Approval Workflow

Is it possible to create a Workflow for custom Expense Report approvals (similar to how you can use them for custom Purchase Order approvals)?  I see the "Enable Custom Purchase Order Approval Routing" under Accounting Preferences -- but I don't see a similar option for Expense Reports.
