Workflow not working on

I'm doing some data-entry validations and setting field values with a one-state workflow (triggered on after field edit) and it's working on existing records  but not working when a new record is created.  The WF has Initiation/ Event Based/ On Create and  On Update  are checked. :h_a_w:

I figured it out: Check "Do Not Exit Workflow"
