Mobile App Save & New

Question about scripts and the mobile apps. I'm looking for a way to open a new record after saving a record of the same type. I've tried nlapiSetRedirectUrl() which does what I want in a browser but it doesn't work in the app. Anyone ever done anything like this? (Save & New?). The actual scenario is to create a "Drive Time" time entry when one of the techs enters their work time on a job. I'd like to open a new time entry with the same customer/job so they only have to enter the duration of their travel time.
