Advanced PDF Custom Record

Hello,

I'm trying to customize an advanced PDF for purchase orders based on data plugged into the custom record, but it seems that Netsuite can only print items within the transaction column fields. Is this true? Is there a way to actually reference those custom records for the advanced PDF?
