Centertype must not be VENDOR?

SDF occasionally just rejects certain values? I'm trying to deploy a project and I'm getting an error with the center type for a custom role. Are these values just not supported or is it related to something else? This role is for the vendor center so I believe it needs that specific type so it would be a bummer if I had to do these specific values in a bundle or manually
