SuiteScript 2.0 - Search Filtering

I am fairly new to SuiteScript 2.0, trying to setup a really simple filter using search module but not having much luck of it working.  From the examples I have been able to find the code is a follows:

        var mySearch = search.load({ id: 'customsearch_my_search_id' });
        mySearch .Filters = [ ['internalid', 'equalto', target_id] ];
        //
        mySearch .run().each(function(result) {

            // Records with internalid != target_id are returned
        });

The SavedSearch definition has "Internal Id (Number)" as an available filter.

Any direction on how what the issue could be would be appreciated.
