Appologies in advance for the long post.
In my current project I need to query netsuite for a token to send off to a 3rd party service so they can use it to query a restlet on our end. NetSuite exposes an endpoint for this purposes and documents it in suite answer 50545:
GET: https://rest.netsuite.com/rest/issuetoken?consumerKey=<CONSUMER_KEY>&name=<TOKEN_ NAME>
In addition to sending the consumer key in the url you also have to send an NLAuth athorization header which looks something like this
Authorization: NLAuth nlauth_account=123456,nlauth_email=test@test.com
