Freight Shipping integration with Netsuite, Integrated Ground causing issues

I am in the process of integrating our Freight shipments via a 3rd party that manages Freight and offers various carriers, and other services, which in theory is similar to how Netsuite has FedEx ground integrated (we are using that for our ground shipments). I am running into an issue where when I go to fulfill a ground shipment now, I run into catch errors because the item fulfillment expects freight shipment info to be entered. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to disable a subtab when the integrated ground is used, and enable it when it
