Importing zero leading chartacters

edited Dec 3, 2019 12:37PM in Account Administration 6 comments

I have been trying to import zip codes for all my customers in the New England states that have zero leading characters for the zip ... "02154".  But with csv files, even after saving the fields as text, when you reporn the file the zeros disappear.  NetSuite has said this is an Excel fault - yes, but don't we all use Excel?  Does anyone have a csv. editor they can recommend that will save the zeroes?  I tried Google's but it only allows for 100 lines of data and I have a lot more than that to bring in.  Or an alternate idea?

Howdy, Stranger!
