Format for importing Item Images/Thumbs

I've been trying everything to get my initial import to function correctly to link to the images i've setup in the file cabinet.. not having much luck however.

I've tried using format such as:

Images : 12345.jpg
File Cabinet : Images : 12345.jpg
Documents : File Cabinet : Images : 12345.jpg

as well as absolute URL references all have failed.. so far i haven't seen a single piece of documentation on this anyways.. Can someone help out on this?
