ODBC SQL limit offset results
I'm trying to implement a way of limiting offseting the results in an ODBC sql statement. I've tried using the rownum feature of oracle ie:
SELECT * FROM table WHERE ROWNUM<10
this should get only ten rows from the table. but i get the following error:
'Column:ROWNUM not found.select * FROM ITEMS WHERE ROWNUM < 10'
so i tried another approach:
SELECT * FROM (SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER ( ORDER BY
column DESC) LINENUM, * FROM tableWHERE
LINENUM > 0 AND LINENUM <= 50)
this doesnt work either.
Anyone else had this problem or is there another way i can do this?
