Updating Sales Rep Field On Customer Record

If a Sales rep owns a bunch of accounts and then leaves the company we want to re-assign +100s of customers to other reps.

So I've exported those records, put in the new sales rep and tried updating via Import.

Error Msg:

Sales team sales rep total does not equal 100%, 2 sales reps, 200.0 total contribution.

Any ideas on how to bypass this?
