Excel Export XLS and XLSX to Google Docs
Like a lot of you, I occasionally export saved searches to Excel. When opening the exported .xls file, I get the annoying warning like this thread
[INDENT]The file you are trying to open 'named report' is in a different format than specified by the file extension...[/INDENT]
I click ok, cause it's not a big deal. But now I've started some users on chromebooks and chromeboxes, and they need to export spreadsheets to Google docs. The way this should work is to export an excel file, then open/convert to a Google Spreadsheet. But Google docs says the file is corrupted. It's got to be the file extension problem.
