How to hide "Vendor" from sales rep on the item page?

I have given our sales rep permission to have access to view items. That, as far as I know, is the only way for them to serach the company item database on what is availble to be sold. They seem to need such access to search the items (we have thousands) to be put into the sales orders.

However, such access allows them to view the item page which has (on the Basic subtap) "vendor" list and prices displayed at the bottom. I can't figure out a way to hide such information from them. Can anyone help?
