Creating Formula Field but can not compare integers

Hello,

I am trying to create a formulat field that does comparison but it is signaling an invalid expression when I use a comparison operator such as < or >.

This works fine and give me True:

case when 1 = 1 then 'True' end

This doesn't work:

case when 2 > 1 then 'True' end

Why not?
