How to Remove "Show Activity" Button

Is it possible to remove the Show Activity Button, or at the least create a saved search that filters what is displayed?

We do not want certain people to view particular information, but it seems like we can prohibit them from seeing the info with the "Show Activity" button.

Any ideas?
