How to use nlapiMergeEmail in scheduled script

Hi,

We are currently trying to develop a script that will automatically send an email reminder to customers who are overdue paying their invoices. To do this we have a scheduled script that runs once a day and uses a saved search to grab the invoice details. We also have an email template set up that we would like to slot said details into before forwarding to the customer.
Presently what happens is that when the email is received the HTML tags are visible and the CRMSDK tags in the template have not been substituted for values from the invoice transaction record.
