Setup options for date in search filters

When setting up "Available Filters" on a saved search that display on the footer, it would be nice to have an option to only display the actual date instead of the preconfigured drop-down of values such as Today, Last Week, etc.

This is useful when displaying search results in a dashboard portlet, since the date drop-down takes a lot of real estate.
