Dynamic Default Tags...

Hi there.

I am trying to have one of our custom fields on an opportunity populate with the users email address on creation.  In the help guide it says you can use {useremail} in the custom field for the default value.  Unfortunately, I cannot get that to work.  Does anyone use this?  Is there another way to add the NetSuite Users email address to a newly created opportunity?
