Request for Quotation (RFQ)
On the items that we use in Netsuite we will enter the purchasing price for that particular item. The question that is complately unaddressed by Netusite is HOW to get this pricing. In the moment you are dealing in commodities weher pricing changes constantly or highly unique Items where you have to request pricing from subcontractors on every individual item you will need the capability to process request for quatations (RFQ).
A Request for quatation as I use the term is a document that you will release to potential suppliers that contains all detaisl on the item(s) that you want them to quote. So bascially the puraching despription, the part number, quantity etc.
