NetSuite Administration is Cumbersome

edited Jan 8, 2020 3:42AM in SuiteCloud / Customization 4 comments

NetSuite really needs help making administering customizations.  With this enhancement administration would be less painful, and NetSuite may even be able to start selling this great product to larger organizations and companies.

Currently, role management is a cumbersome process when there exists many custom records.  Right now we have to go to dozens of screens to setup one new role. It could be hundreds of screens if we add more custom records.  You know the drill, visit Manage Roles to update standard permissions, then go to every single custom record to adjust those permissions.

It would be VERY helpful to be able to configure EVERY permission from the Manage Role screen.  For example, if there was a Custom Record Tab that listed every custom record (or make it only add those you choose, like a saved search results/criteria) and be able to specify the permissions of each custom record.  This would be a one stop shop for Role Setup.

Howdy, Stranger!
