Override Custom record number not really overriding anything
I'm very confused by this latest issue I've encountered...
On a new custom record I created I wanted to specify the IDs of the records. There won't be very many and there are advantages in my case to have specific ids assigned. I clicked the Override option on the Numbering tab on the record (after reading the help)
So I create a record and assign it's ID as 1100.
I then see in the URL the id is 1
So I'm not really overriding the Id at all, NetSuite still sets the id... I just get to change some other field that is presented as IF it were the id? Is that correct?
