Running Total in Search

Is there a way to make a formula be a running total in a search result?

In a transaction search listing transactions from a client I would like to show a running total column.  Cost, Paid to Date.  e.g:

Cost   Paid To Date
$10           $10
$15           $25
$9             $34

I would post this for clients to see MTD vs Budget Info.
