Customizing the PDF Attachment email

Has anyone figured out how to send SO PDFs in the body of an e-mail instead of as an attachment?
If not, is there any way to customize the e-mail NetSuite sends telling people they have received an attachment? This is very unprofessional. I need to be able to write my own email telling customers their order has been processed and I have attached a copy.
