display custom tabs alongside standard tabs in custom dashboard...

Is there a way to display a custom tab alongside the standard tabs in a custom center dashboard?

Or, is there a way to add (for example) the 'Setup' tab to a custom center dashboard?


Details:

We have a custom role attached to a custom center.  The custom center has a few custom tabs.  I can see all my tabs when I login with my custom role, but I cannot see the standard tabs (Activities, Transactions, Lists, Setup, etc...).

I tried setting the 'Use Classic Interface' pref and was able to see the standard tabs, but now I am not able to see the custom tabs.  I know I can associate my custom tabs with the classic center, but then they show up for other roles that I don't want them to show up for.
