Record Link Chain

edited Jan 8, 2020 3:39AM in SuiteCloud / Customization 3 comments

In my custom record Support Contracts I am trying to create a renewal chain list and am failing miserably.

What I am trying to achieve is if we have the below scenario

1. Original Contract Created VC000100 (New Record)
2.  Original Contract Renewed VC000255 (New Record with reference field to VC000100)
3. Original Contract Renewed VC000333 (New Record with reference field to VC000255)

What I need is a Renewal Tab in the contract that shows the renewal history.

So in VC000255 it will show in the list VC000100

In VC000333 it will show in the list VC000100 and VC000333 even though the reference field will only hold VC000255 but the reference field in VC000255 will hold VC000100.

Howdy, Stranger!
