Email Alerts getting out to customers?
Hello….
We have set up a few internal email alerts to let us know when an estimate gets turned into a sales order or if any special parts are added to an order. We have been using these for months without any issues.
Yesterday one of my sales people forwarded an email alert that actually went out to a customer! It was addressed to that person directly. The alerts we use are generated by saved searches, the email addresses are “hard wired” I’m at a bit of a loss to understand what’s occurred.
The customer’s email is on the order, and the customer record.. but those are the only places they exist… I’ve looked through various system settings and can not find any thing that may have caused this.
