Custom Record Sublist on Case

I have created a saved search, with filter Customer: Internal ID.  When I add this as a sublist to a Customer, it shows the results as I expect.

When I add this as a sublist to a case, no results are returned.

Do I need to add a particular filter to allow this sublsit to show properly up under cases?
