filedChange events not working using Add Multiple / Search

Hi,

Line item fieldChange event client-side scripts are not working when using Add Multiple / Search to add a line item to a Quote/Sales Order. The scripts work fine if I click on the dropdown on the item column and select List, but if I use Search it does not work. Is this normal?
